Some highlights from my day trip to Boston:
Driving into the North End Italian neighborhood. Very narrow streets and no parking, so I didn't get a photo. Many cafes and outdoor dining covering the sidewalks and into the narrow roads.
Next up - guided Freedom Trail tour, followed by an entertaining street performance by the Unicycling Unicorn (I went for the big tip and got a trucker hat), epic squirrel photos in Boston Common, Chinatown, and an amazing lunch at The Capital Burger on Newbury St. (yes, it was so good that I mention it here - in case anyone finds themselves nearby looking for a hearty meal. Tasty veggie burger & fries, homemade pickles, and a beer!)
My last 'mission' was the lighted sculpture I saw in front of MIT. But I explored deeper onto campus and found a soccer game. Home Team (MIT) beat Brandeis University on a goal in the last 10 seconds, and a wild celebration ensued.
